Brewers suffer 15-3 defeat to New York Yankees

After a tight contest to open the series, the Brewers were demolished, 15-3, against the New York Yankees on Saturday night.

The volley of runs for New York began early as Joe Ross struggled to control traffic. Any game in which your starter allows eight hits and three walks is going to cause trouble, but the Yankees’ home runs all came with runners on base. The first inning began by Ross hitting a batter and walking another. Yankees outfielder Alex Verdugo kicked off the offensive onslaught with a three-run homer, a gap the Brewers would never come close to closing.
